The 2026 A1 premiers on the mound in their medals, with the premiership shield and a Premiers pennant, under a banner reading “Mornington Pirates A Grade Premiers 2026!”

Mornington Baseball Club are A1 premiers. The Pirates beat Dandenong in the Dandenong Baseball Association grand final on Sunday 6 September 2026. It’s only the club’s second A1 premiership.

The first came in 1975. That year Mornington’s A1 team played its first season together and took home the flag.

The win also had a family connection. Allan Grierson, then 34, played in the 1975 premiership side. Fifty-one years later his son Todd Grierson, 35, played in his first A1 grand final and won it.
